Night before Noon

Embracing history and genealogy before they whiz past forever.
"How did it get so late so soon? It's night before it's afternoon. December is here before it's June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?"...Theodor Seuss Geisel

About Me

My Photo
Julia, IBSSG
When I found my mother's genealogy files from the 1970s, I decided that since she had given me such a good head start, I'd continue to trace my ancestors. I have a powerful tool she never even dreamed of - the Internet. I found some very helpful groups, including the International Black Sheep Society of Genealogists (IBSSG), who fostered me, explained what things meant, and helped me find wonderful websites. Thanks to all of my Web Buddies!

Of course, the items published in this blog are as I find them. Before accepting them as wholecloth, you will need to verify the events and statements for yourself.

In that same vein, there will items that reflect the unhappy views of another time. If an item is disdainful of Americans of African descent, Native Americans, immigrants, women, or stereotypes any other group, shake your head sadly and understand that it was part of the time and that not all Americans felt that way even then.

All items are in the public domain or otherwise available to use to best of my understanding. If an item published here violates copyrights, please notify me immediately.
